social security disability attorney

experienced southfield, michigan disability and social security attorney

Clifford L. Weisberg has been a practicing attorney for over 40 years. The majority of that time has been devoted exclusively to Social Security Disability law, handling his first Social Security Disability case in 1969. In 1979, he was one of the three founding members of the National Organization of Social Security Claimant Representatives (NOSSCR), the only nationally recognized group of attorneys specializing in social security disability law.

As past president, member of the executive committee, and current member of the Council of Past Presidents, he has seen NOSSCR grow into a 4,000-member organization. As part of his duties, he has given over 200 presentations on various aspects of the Social Security Act, and has conducted numerous training seminars for attorneys just starting practice. He has also been a member of the editorial board of West Publishing Company’s SOCIAL SECURITY REPORTING SERVICE, since its inception in 1985. In 1993, Mr. Weisberg was presented with the NOSSCR Pro Bono Award for legal services to the poor.

Mr. Weisberg has conducted more than a dozen training seminars over the past year for social workers and case managers.

He has been authorized to issue continuing education credits by the Michigan Social Work Continuing Education Collaborative, and the Case Managers Association.

What our clients say about us

We appreciate the opportunity to help you get the benefits you deserve

It really made my day

Just a short note to thank you so much for the nice birthday card you sent. It meant a lot to me to think that an important businessman would take the time to think of a person he has never met to send a birthday card. It really made my day. I’m still having a lot of pain and discomfort from my back and knees. But I will never forget what you and the judge did for me in getting my SS benefits. Thank You again for being so kind and considerate.

I do not know what I would have done

Cliff, during my disability I do not know what I would have done without your endless help. You made a hardship in my life a whole lot easier with your direction, instruction, kindness and guidance. You will not be forgotten. Thank you so much for your patience in answering my many questions on the phone and the Social Security problems. I thank you for the “secret number” which sped up getting my payment, who knows when they would have made the payment. Thank you so much. You have made the world so much nicer

The information shared was critical

Dear Mr. Weisberg, thank you for the excellent preparation and the materials you shared with the clinical staff at Hope Network last week. The information shared was critical to many of the consumers we work with. Michigan is fortunate to have you and your firm advocating for the rights of its citizens.
